Cambridge House Guest Accommodation

I had a wonderful stay at Cambridge House Guest Accommodation. The location is fantastic, being very close to the train station, which made travelling incredibly convenient. Debbie, the host, was exceptionally friendly and accommodating. She went above and beyond to allow us an early check-in and late check-out due to our train schedule, which made our trip much more flexible and stress-free. The room was spotless, very clean and well-maintained. I highly recommend this place for its excellent service, perfect location, and warm hospitality. Thank you, Debbie, for making our stay so enjoyable!

Just arrived home from a weekend break for our wedding Anniversary, absolutely lovely room, excellent location and great value for money. tea and coffee facilities available at all times with a little fridge that had cartons of fruit juice in it on our arrival. The hotel felt very safe and secure and throughly clean throughout. The parking was just on the next street, shops, restaurants etc just a few feet away, we will definitely be returning in the future and we would definitely give this hotel five stars.

Cambridge House was a great experience. Cozy, quiet rooms and very clean. Seamless check in via smart locks all around. Staff very responsive and helpful. Great location, close to the Windermere High Street with lots of shops, restaurants, cafes, delis, supermarkets etc. I will definitely be back and I recommend Cambridge House Windermere. Thanks.

Stayed at this beautiful house which was spotlessly clean recently.We were made feel extremely welcome by the owner and nothing was too much trouble. We had ongoing communication throughout the weekend but felt it was never intrusive. We had one of the rooms where dogs are welcome and he had a fantastic time! Some lovely surprises for the dog too which he really enjoyed! Having access to parking just outside the house was a great bonus. We would love to visit in the future and would thoroughly recommend this accommodation to anyone. Thank you Debbie.

We have just returned from a lovely but a bit wet week in Windermere. We had a lovely stay in Cambridge guest house. Debbie was always available to give local advise on walks, restaurants and things to do. The guest house is situated the middle of Windermere really near the local bus stops and train station which was good as we travelled up from London by train. The guest house was welcoming, clean, comfortable, en-suite rooms and with everything you need. Very pleased to see we could borrow umbrellas when we needed to. Have to mention we had lovely service every where we went from the guest house, to every coffee shop and restaurant.

Cambridge House was such a lovely stay in Windermere. The location is perfect — quiet street but only a couple of minutes from the shops, cafés and restaurants, and an easy walk down towards the lake. The room was spotless, beautifully styled, and felt really calm and cosy after a day out exploring. Bed was super comfortable, the bathroom was fresh and modern, and everything you need is there for a relaxed stay. Check-in/out was smooth and the communication/instructions were clear, including helpful tips for getting around and parking. Would 100% stay again and recommend to anyone wanting a stylish, comfortable base in the Lake District.

Perfect accommodation in the centre of Windermere. Clean room and bathroom, perfect for a few nights away. Messages were responded to promptly by the host who was super helpful and friendly. We parked in a car park just around the corner which was reasonably priced for 24 hours.

We stayed a couple of nights and parked just round the corner. Beautiful place, well designed and the hosts were so very helpful. Good communication when we needed an extra towel. Would recommend to anyone, it's a hidden gem .
